MICC – Media Integration and Communication Center for winning the Best Demo Honorable Mention Award at IEEE / CVF Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR) 19-14 June 2022, New Orleans, USA, the foremost conference on computer vision and pattern recognition.
The Demo titled “Conditioned and composed image retrieval combining and partially fine-tuning clip-based features” won the award presenting a novel neural network that allows combined image retrieval, using text and images to perform a search in multimedia collections.
Smart Retrieval tool, is part of the ReInherit toolkit, allowing museums to manage complex multimedia archives and collections, allowing them to search them by content using natural language. A variant of the network can perform also annotation of cultural heritage images.
